So, I was in HMV (dvd/music/games store) today after work. They have a few t-shirts and hoodies on sale, usually bands and stuff.

As I just found out, they seem to have some new TV-show-oriented shirts.

LIKE THIS

Yes, this means I now possess a Merlotte's-waitress-shirt of my very own.

....right now, though, I have Lost to watch. BRB, obsessing.

Well, there's this new show on ABC called Flash Forward. I saw the second episode today... and honestly, I'm hooked already.

Spoilery for first two episodes... )

Verdict: great concept, great cast/production, bring on episode three!

... I've seen Star Trek (2009) four times now.

...

I'm doomed. Then again, I don't think I care.

(I maintain that this is all Karl Urban's and Anton Yelchin's fault for being AWESOME and UNBEARABLY ADORABLE respectively.)

Okay... so, seeing as we're having lots of season finales at the moment, I'm kinda on the lookout for a new show to watch over the summer.

AND I THINK I FOUND IT.

It's called Lie to Me. Basically it's bunch of people who are really, really good at reading facial expressions figuring out the truth behind the Situation of the Week.

(so kinda like House, only with less medicine and more liars)

Also the main character is played by Tim Roth. Who I have a slight... thing... for, revolving mostly around him being awesome and strangely attractive.

There's another good thing too... I'm getting a lot better at reading facial expressions myself. Seeing as that's something I tend to suck at, generally speaking, it's a good thing that I'm getting better at it, right?

Ok, so in my continuing quest to catch up on two seasons of Supernatural while watching season four at the same time, I've got to the point where I've almost finished season two.

Today's eps (so far...) have been "Roadkill", which was saaaaad and also I went OMG THAT'S NUMBER SIX when I saw Tricia Helfer. Then there was "Heart", which was sad for Sam, 'cause the girl he liked was a werewolf and had to die. Even if I totally called the "she's the werewolf" way before it was actually revealed.

And then... "Hollywood Blues". Ahhh, yes.

Two things, really. a) When Sam'n'Dean were on this Hollywood tour thing, one of the places the tour went past was the Stars Hollow set from Gilmore Girls. Which Jared Padalecki was in.

b) Dean, impersonating a PA. Oh, rassilon, that was hilarious. Also, someone needs to put Dean and Tony DiNozzo from NCIS together to see who knows the most random stuff about movies.

In short: Ohhh, I love this show.

*grin*

I'm feeling a lot of love for certain BSG characters right now.

Like Helo. Ohhh, Helo... practically the living, breathing personification of Conscience, and I wouldn't want him any other way. (How he manages to be so moral *and* completely badass, however, is something that still eludes me.)

And Dee, who is just... incredibly awesome in her own understated way. BTW, Lee... much as I love you, you totally don't deserve her.

Which brings me onto...

Samuel T Anders... who is just so completely awesome right now. And... oh... he's just great. Really great. Also, way, way too good for Kara Thrace.

Idk, maybe we can retcon certain marriages out of existence, Sam and Dee can be awesome together and Lee and Kara can fight and make up and keep frakking each other up as much as they want.

Honorary mention:

Madam President, Laura Roslin. Dammit I have a lot of respect for this woman. Also, I will continue shipping her with Bill Adama until... well, forever, basically.

Honorary mention the second:

Number Three, or D'Anna or whatever you want to call her.

At least my third favourite Cylon, I think. (First two are Caprica-Six and Sharon-Eight)

I only recently started watching this show.... but after the first few episodes I was hooked.

Today I finished the second season and started on the third, and OMG this show just keeps getting better!

Spoilers for late s2, early s3 )

And the characters in general... so many of them are just so completely awesome, I just love them... also, I've actually started shipping Bill Adama/Laura Roslin. (Which... may be canon... sort of...)

Also Spoiler for s2 ep Final Cut )

in short... WATCH BSG. IT IS AWESOME.

AND I WANT TO KNOW WHO THE OTHER CYLONS IN THE FLEET ARE, GODSDAMMIT.

(also, I've started using "frak" as a swearword. A lot.)
