I'm feeling a lot of love for certain BSG characters right now.

Like Helo. Ohhh, Helo... practically the living, breathing personification of Conscience, and I wouldn't want him any other way. (How he manages to be so moral *and* completely badass, however, is something that still eludes me.)

And Dee, who is just... incredibly awesome in her own understated way. BTW, Lee... much as I love you, you totally don't deserve her.

Which brings me onto...

Samuel T Anders... who is just so completely awesome right now. And... oh... he's just great. Really great. Also, way, way too good for Kara Thrace.

Idk, maybe we can retcon certain marriages out of existence, Sam and Dee can be awesome together and Lee and Kara can fight and make up and keep frakking each other up as much as they want.

Honorary mention:

Madam President, Laura Roslin. Dammit I have a lot of respect for this woman. Also, I will continue shipping her with Bill Adama until... well, forever, basically.

STUFF TIME!!

I have discovered the musical (and book) Wicked. Bought the book two days ago, and I'm half-way through already. Downloaded the soundtrack recording for the Original Broadway Musical *before* then, and apart from the SGU it's actually the only music I've been listening to for the last week-ish.

And it is FANTASTIC. ALL OF IT. Now I'm reading the book, I'm self-identifying with Elphaba way more than is probably healthy, but everyone else is awesome too. Even Glinda has stopped looking unbearably smug. And, well... there's that teeny crush on Fiyero that just won't go away...

Now... there was a point. Basically... I RP a lot. In several different fandoms. And I kinda want to make a Wicked (musical-based) RP. Still thinking about it though.

Had a possibly fantastic Doctor Who fic idea.

Basically, since The News came out, there's been a bunch of speculation about Eleven. (Though, there was a lot *before* as well...)

My idea was to write a series of short fics. Each one would be Ten's regeneration into Eleven. But in each fic, the Eleven would be different. So the first would feature Peter-Wingfield-Eleven, the second would be Jack-Davenport-Eleven, and so on.

I dunno... I think it sounds cool.

Oh, jeebus, BSG is awesome. And I just love, like, all the characters. Even the Cylons. (Well, I'm not too happy with Kara right now... but *spoilers* so I'll be quiet)

Slightly weird thing: Having seen S1, S2 and much of S3 in a relatively short period of time... I'm starting to think of Bill Adama and Laura Roslin as my kind of TV parents. Really, sometimes I feel closer to them than my real parents. Which is kind of a skeery thought, so moving on...

(extra thing: KAAATTTTTTTT!!!!!! *sobs*)

the New Job continues being cool! The people are awesome, the work is currently not too difficult, but I'm only a trainee still... so YAY NEW JOB.

Feeling kind of strange today. Maybe because the clocks have gone back, so it's now actually *dark* at 6 in the evening (come back, British Summer Time! Please come back!). I don't know.

Whatever's caused it, my world's become this... mix of Supernatural and BSG and Doctor Who... it's like I spend my free time in the company of either Sam'n'Dean or one of the Doctor's incarnations (current obsession: Four), or the myriad cast of BSG...

and in between that, I have my two Rewrite projects to get on with... and NaNoWriMo starting next week...

I don't know. My head's in a weird place today. Probably I'll start the New Job tomorrow and everything will look better. For tonight I shall continue being weird and drinking too much coffee.
