Stuff from today.
#1. Saw Public Enemies at the cinema. Awesome movie. Johnny Depp was fab as usual. Can really see why Marion Cotillard got that Oscar.
Also, somewhat fascinated by Christian Bale's character. Odd, because the guy who was in charge of finding John Dillinger is a bit of a weird obsession even for me.
#2. Work was threatening to dissolve into utter hysteria at various points today.
(Seriously, whatever you've heard about tax offices being dull and boring... they're not. Or at least, mine isn't. Maybe we're the exception.)
#3. Thank you so much, Jeremy Clarkson. Because of you I now find myself mentally replacing the word "orgasm" with "crisis". On the other hand... why exactly is Top Gear so comforting (and hilarious) to me? Must ponder.
#4. HOLY SHIT Stephen Fry's lost a lot of weight. By doing so, I think he's actually galvanised me into actually doing something about my own weight issues. The things I'll do just because of my heroes...
#5. Discovered Dead Like Me. Love it already. Combination of factors, really... a) George is awesome, b) Mandy Freaking Patinkin, people and c) Callum Blue, who's totally hot. Also, the mythology of the show is pretty interesting too. And there may be a Supernatural crossover in the works (because hey, Spnl has Reapers too).
That's it. Now one more ep of DLM, then bed.
