... uh, yeah. Well.

So, teeny shift in focus this week, if only because we get Tracy and Angela and Sylathan for a change.

The round-up:

Hiro- has it in his head that his 'mission' is that he has to go back and undo everything he ever did wrong. But then he spends... a lot of time saving some dude from jumping off the Yamagato Industries building. Forty-seven times, in fact. There were many photocopiers involved... anyway, eventually something Ando tells him sinks in (after he's said it three times) - that he needs to accept reality, rather than trying to change it all the time by changing the past. Honestly, I have never loved Ando as much as when he said that.

(Also, I find the fact that Kimiko is played by Saemi Nakamura far more hilarious than I probably should)

Noah (&Claire)- Noah's feeling a little lost these days, I think. So Peter shows up to ask him about the compass tattoo (...which mysteriously disappears), and then Claire shows up for, uh, family time, I guess. And then we come to the slightly ztrange situation of Claire giving her dad good advice, rather than the other way around.

I have to say, actually, Claire's almost totally not-annoying these days. It's nice.

Tracy- Tracy, basically, wants her old life back. So she takes a bath (which is... interesting, considering her ability), puts on a nice dress and instantly gets her old job back with the pervy governor.

But somethin doesn't quite feel right... like something's missing, even. She goes and asks Noah about it, and he repeats Claire's advice to her (word for word, too, tsk). She then goes and meets the pervy governor, who pervs on her some more even though she's trying to do big important policy stuff, rather than just PR. Then she walks out on him, and suddenly I'm thinking that maybe she's not THAT bad...

Petrellis-

Peter.. does very little this week. Just shows up at Noah's, hugs Sylathan, and pretends he has NO IDEA whatsoever that powers exist. Also, he did say "must run in families" under his breath... Sylathan didn't catch that.

Sylathan did, however, refer to himself as "the swiss army knife of superpowers", which I liked. Mostly, though, he keeps being all mopey and mid-life-crisis-y, until Angela shows up with a box of random memorabilia from Nathan's past.

Now, remember Sylar's "seeing the history of things he touched" power? The one he got from that girl Angela 'fed' to him back in Vol.3? Well, that power showed Sylathan a bunch of stuff that happened to Nathan. Including the accidental death of some girl he went out with when he was a teenager.

So, feeling confused and guiltridden, he heads off to the girl's mother (who is a close friend of Angela), asks about the girl... and her mother says that she just "disappeared". Yeah... except Sylathan doesn't buy that, does some powers-based investigating, and finds out how she died. Then he tells her mother... and as he's heading home, gets stabbed in the neck by Random Thug (who dead-girls-mother hired), who then drives him out to Some Random Woods, dumps him in a grave, and fires three bullets into his chest before filling the grave in.

Now, seeing as this is Sylathan we're talking about... well, we know how effective guns and knives are on Sylar. i.e, they're not. And, naturally, we get a shot of a hand bursting up through the earth, followed by the rest of the person in question.

Not Sylathan, though. Uh-uh, not any more. Yep, Sylar's back, and basically just got buried alive. So I'm guessing he's gonna be pissed about that. (Also, does this mean that Matt's Head!Sylar is gone now? I kinda hope not...)

And, of course, there's Samuel & Co.

All does not appear to be well in Carnival-land. Edgar, especially, seems all mopey about the fact that Samuel's 'recruiting' new people. Lydia (she of the cool tattoos) reassures him a bit, though, before Samuel shows up to get her to 'show' him another person.

Only this time, it's not someone with powers whose face shows up on Lydia's back. It's Noah.

Samuel is not especially happy about that - and seems to know plenty about Noah's past activities, as well as the fact that Noah's retired. Hmmmm. Lydia, though, says that Noah has changed his mind - which he has, so I'm thinking that she's almost certainly some kind of psychic.
