trillianastraWell... that was pretty good.
I like Elena. She feels... real, I guess, if that makes any sense. I'm interested in Jeremy, I think there's potential there... the other high school kids seem decent too, none of them are too annoying.
And the vamps...
the black eyes and the veiny stuff, good
the fog's good, haven't seen that since Dracula showed up in BtVS.
the crows are... a bit emo and overly dramatic, but these ARE vampires after all.
the rings are... well, it's a pretty decent way to allow them out in the sunlight. Shame they couldn't be nicer-looking or, like, more subtle, but never mind.
personality-wise, Damon is... uh... well. Yeah. He goes in the category with Eric and Spike, I've decided. Stefan was a pleasant surprise, actually - he could have been horribly Edward Cullen-like. But he isn't. He's like... what Edward would be, if he didn't sparkle, was a proper vampire and was actually able to talk to girls. There's a little of Angel in the mix too. Or maybe there's some of Stefan in Angel, seeing as the TVD source material was around *before* BtVS or Twilight or True Blood... hmm.
Whatever, I guess it doesn't matter. The point is, I like this show. Definitely watching next week.
