I've noticed a few things about Law & Order: UK...

one of the main characters is played by Freema Agyeman - the one and only Martha Jones.

two of the writers for the series are Chris Chibnall and Catherine Tregenna - both of whom have written for Torchwood.

... and in episode five, I've spotted two actors who played minor parts in Doctor Who S4. (One from Partners in Crime, one from Silence in the Library)


Is it just me, or is ITV stealing actors/writers from the Beeb?

Little known fact: There are only 30 actors in the whole of the UK, which is why you keep seeing the same actors on everything.

Paul Darrow was in the fourth episode, as the judge. He was in Doctor Who twice and was, of course, Avon on Blake's 7. :3

L&OUK wasn't bad, but they could stand some original material. I have to admit, I only watched the episode because of Mr. Darrow... and I think it's going to be one of those shows that I'll only watch if there's an actor that I really like on. Shame, really. They could totally have a huge hit with this!
