By a fortunate coincidence, I just acquired some new Doctor Who DVDs for my growing collection.

This time, they include the Seven serial Remembrance of the Daleks.

Which is great. Mostly for reasons that involve Ace, who is actually one of the best companions ever.

My favourite so far is the scene where she takes out a Dalek, alone, with a baseball bat - because it called her "small".

If that's not proof that she's Awesome, I don't know what is...

(oh, and Seven's pretty awesome too.)

Ace totally kicks ass. I saw Sophie Aldred at a convention when I was 10 years old. She was SO my hero. Also, that's a good episode. With the floating casket and whatnot. And when they're in that house and the TV comes on and they're advertising Doctor Who? Did you catch that? lol

I so loved them *grins* Hand of Omega indeed! Hah!!! Fantastic. And blowing stuff up, and beating the bejeezus out of a Dalek with a baseball bat, THAT'S my GIRL!!!
