Must get this essay written. MUST get this essay written.

I don't even know WHY I'm procrastinating, it's 4000 words on science fiction TV! That's my favourite genre... and Star Trek and BSG, specifically, which should make it even better! Unfortunately I keep wanting to go WATCH the shows instead of WRITING about them, GRRR.

OK, going to crack down now. 500 words down, 3500 to go.... I can totally do that.

BTW, did you know that Star Trek basically started as one big reaction to the Vietnam war? 'Cause I do.... and I've seen the ORIGINAL, 1978 BSG movie, too. I can now honestly say that I ship Starbuck/Apollo... IN BOTH INCARNATIONS. OH, HELL YES. (Seriously, I mean... Richard Hatch isn't exactly unattractive NOW, but THEN... WHOA.)
