Dollhouse 2x01
OK, my reaction to this episode... mostly consisted of OMGSQUEE and WAIT... WHAT?!, for a variety of reasons...
1. JAMIE BAMBER. (I don't think I need to explain this one...)
2. O-k, Topher sleeps in the server room. Actually, like much of this show, that makes a weird kind of sense.
3. Um. Topher is far more messed up than even I thought. And yet, still loveable.
4. Whiskey/Claire/whatever you want to call her... yeah, I don't know what's going on there, but that, too, is hugely messed up.
5. ...I think I ship Boyd/Claire. WHAT THE HELL, SELF?
6. Hm, I quite like Olivia Williams' new hairstyle.
7. Oh, Paul. Just... um... yeah. Actually, never mind. (Is it me, or has Tahmoh Penikett carried over a lot of Helo into Paul? Because they are VERY similar... then again, I still call Paul 'Agent Helo' sometimes, so I can't really complain.)
8. Oh, Ivy does still work there. W/e.
9. Basically, EVERYONE in that Dollhouse is severely messed up. To the point where the Actives are probably the most normal (except Whiskey, obviously). Seriously - Adelle, Topher, Boyd, Paul - all got major issues. BUT I STILL LOVE THEM. (maybe I love them BECAUSE of their issues. hmmm.)
10. Uh, what was with the random Imprinted!Sierra at the beginning? And why'd Claire/Whiskey put those rats in Topher's lab? SO MANY QUESTIONS.
11. HOLY SHIT, RANDOM!UNEXPECTED!ALEXIS DENISOF... looking rather attractive in that suit, I have to say...
Also, this has nothing to do with the episode... but I've come to the conclusion that if Paul had a daemon, it'd be a terrier. Also, Boyd's is a German Shepherd, Topher's may or may not be some kind of monkey, and I'm leaning towards a nightingale for Adelle. (Look, deciding what daemons characters would have is... just this thing I do. Helps me understand them better.)
