TV Stuff

Leverage - "The Zanzibar Marketplace Job"

Um. Awesome Leverage-osity as usual. Getting more and more worried about Nate drinking again... and of course.... MAGGIE.

Now, I rather love Maggie. She's awesome. She's even more awesome after this episode. And... uh, my Nate/Sophie OTP is on even shakier ground than it used to be. For serious. I'm now thinking that new-and-improved-Nate and Maggie getting back together would be more awesome than the N/S UST finally getting resolved.

And, uh... OK, so maybe I like Tara now. NOT AS MUCH AS THE OTHERS, but a bit. Just a bit.

And OF COURSE... STERLING. OMG. There are no words, man. Oh, and Mark A Sheppard is some kind of minor deity, but I knew that already.

Supernatural - "Swap Meat"

Oh, show.

This ep = perfect example of Why Teenagers Should Not Mess With The Occult. IT NEVER ENDS WELL. EVER.

And... it took Dean over half the episode to figure out that "Sam" wasn't actually himself. You'd think he'd know his brother a little better, seeing as they spend all their freaking time together.

Silent Witness - "Shadows"

HARRY, DO NOT SCARE ME LIKE THAT. No standing underneath bombs, y'hear?

Also, writers, not so happy with you either, pulling a "six weeks later" on us like that.

Silent Witness - did not like. I really dislike it when they don't actually do any pathology work and just get put in peril. I have to be in just the right mood to cope with it, which sadly I wasn't. I don't want to see characters I'm emotionally attached to nearly die in various ways. First they nearly kill Leo at the beginning of the series, then all this!

The six weeks later thing really left a bitter taste in my mouth. It felt like it all hadn't been resolved properly.

Plus, I found some of it genuinely heartbreaking (the guy who just wanted his mum :( ) and Scott seriously creepy, and not in a particularly ooh intriguing way. Despite all that though, I kept on watching because I had to know how it turned out!
