Lost 5x11 "Whatever Happened, Happened"

Whoa... that was an interesting episode. I mean... really enlightening about certain things, you know?

Most of the memorable things were character-related... so:

Kate: Hey, look, Kate's not annoying me any more. And her reason for going back? In fact, anything to do with Aaron? ... I thought it was great, actually. Like... she's finally being honest with herself, or something.

Juliet: was badass in her own quiet way. This is all.

Sawyer: Once again, proved that he's a better, more interesting, less irritating character than Jack. Also, I am slightly (read: very) happy that the awesomeness that is James&Juliet is still going strong. Woo!

Hurley & Miles: These two, talking about time travel. Priceless. (and hey, Miles was right) Does raise the question though... what the hell happened to Daniel?

Jack: Oh, dear. I didn't think it was possible, but in this episode, Jack Shephard was the most heartless, selfish, unfeeling bastard on that island. And when I say selfish, I mean the kind that makes season-1-BSG Gaius Baltar look like Mother freaking Theresa. That selfish.

Other people...

Roger Linus: I actually feel a bit sorry for him now. Before, we really just saw him through Ben's eyes... but he's a lot more sympathetic now.

Cassidy Phillips: Officially rocks.

Clementine Phillips: Oh My God, she's adorable.

Aaron Littleton/Austen: I suspected as much. When Kate showed up without him, I thought she might have left him with Carole. (Well, the less rational part of me had fantasies of Aaron being looked after by Des&Penny... but hey, that's why it's the less rational part.)

John Locke: I had a bit of a OMGWTF moment when he was just sitting there at the end. Also, his one line? "Welcome back to the land of the living"... well, that's just ironic, being told that by a dead guy (er... sort of. Ish. Maybe?).

All in all?

Roll on next week!
